     The DBAL-PL combines a covert Infrared LASER with a battlefield proven visible Red LASER (9020) or Green LASER (9021) aiming module with a new, high output, 400-lumen white-light illuminator for rapid target acquisition and aiming. The DBAL-PL’s low-parallax allows the operator to minimize the differential between POA (Point-of-Aim) and POI (Point-of-Impact) for increased accuracy at varying ranges. For maximum flexibility, the DBAL-PL allows the operator to either aim independently or aim and illuminate simultaneously, all with the quick tap of a button. The DBAL-PL is designed for quick mounting onto mid to large frame pistols with an integrated adjustable butterfly mount. Housed in a rugged, waterproof aircraft aluminum 6061-T6 / MIL-SPEC Type III hardcoat anodized case, the DBAL-PL delivers long battery life and easy-of-use in a compact, under 4 oz. package.

     The DBAL-PL enables operators to engage targets on the battlefield or during close quarter combat in both light and no light conditions. The DBAL-Pl functions in two operational modes: The visible switch activates the visible laser and 400 lumen white light LED; while the IR switch pairs a Class 1 IR laser with an eye-safe IR LED illuminator for supplemental illumination. New temperature insensitive green laser technology provides better visibility and greater stability over a wide-range of temperatures.

Laser Devices Inc introduced a LASER/Light combination unit called the DBAL-PL (Dual Beam Aiming Laser Pistol Light). Now under new management, the Burris/Steiner DBAL-PL is designed to mount on the accessory rail of a pistol. It combines a 400-lumen white light with a GREEN or Red Visible LASER, along with an IR LASER.
